There’s History behind National Beer Day

The historic significance of today’s‘ holiday’National Beer Day according to Wikipedia:

“April 7th marks the day that the Cullen–Harrison Act came into force after having been signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 22, 1933. April 6, the day before, is known as New Beer's Eve. The 18th Amendment was later repealed by the ratification of the 21st Amendment on December 5 that year, officially ending Prohibition”.
