I realize many pet parents don’t know the actual birth date of their beloved furry babies — but lucky me, thanks to my sister from another Mrs & Mister, Chris, aka “Groovy C,” aka Auntie Mama / Kitty Doula, who helped bring them into this world (the story goes: their alley cat mama, a very fertile feline, gave birth to them in Groovy’s basement one cold, snowy February 18th eve back in 2021).
And for this reason I have the luxury of knowing the exact birthdate of these rescue-esque fluffy ones — and yes, for sure, I absolutely LOVE that they were born in the middle of BLACK HISTORY MONTH 😆 ❤️🖤💚 Kinda cosmic since some scholars say we can thank ancient Nubians for ‘inventing’ the (semi) domesticated house cat — cuddled the world over 🌍…[scroll to the very bottom of that last hyperlink for the ‘hidden history’ on that…]
