LEMON JUICE (ideally fresh squeezed… ) is an essential ingredient in a range of culinary applications (yes — for making COCKTAILS, mocktails and many modes of mixology are at the top of my “Why I love Lemon Juice” List … but also it’s a key ingredient in my signature home-made salad dressing (some of the most amazing salad dressing known to human kind IMHO)….. and I add it to drinking water … and to both hot and cold tea all the time..

Plus as of this year (2025) i have a whole new fresh tangy crop of fascinating LEMON and other CITRUS HISTORY to share! — based on original research I recently did for the Pepsi-Cola Corp —luckily the citrus history part i unearthed is not proprietary to them lol … in fact I shared some slices of that earlier this year at a Black History Month event at Lefferts House where my drink demo and talk centered on reclaiming the “Arnold Palmer” (1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade) …audio and video highlights of which I’m also happy to share with my Patreon peeps — so sign up and look forward to MORE thirst quenching pours of hidden history …

In a pinch or pressed for time — for most recipes using (ideally organic) lemon juice in a glass jar is just fine!
